Initial inquiries
The inquiry helper on this website prepares an email draft on your device. The information you enter is not submitted to a website intake database. You must open or copy the draft, review it, and send it using your own email service. If you leave or reload the page, entered details are not saved by the inquiry helper.
When you send an email, your email provider and the practice’s email systems process that message. The practice uses inquiry information to respond, check conflicts, assess whether it can assist, and manage any resulting engagement. An inquiry does not confirm acceptance or create a retainer.
Keep first contact brief
Initially provide your name, a way to contact you, and the general area of the matter. Please wait for instructions before sending a detailed account, documents, identification, medical information, financial records, or other sensitive information. Ask about suitable delivery arrangements before sharing sensitive material.
Website hosting and technical data
This website is hosted through Cloudflare. Requests to the website pass through Cloudflare, which may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, and security data in providing hosting and protecting the service. Its infrastructure may process information outside Canada. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its practices.
The website’s own code does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or browser storage for inquiry details. Hosting and security services may process technical data independently. This statement concerns this public website; it does not describe the systems used for an accepted client engagement.
Email and external links
Email is not guaranteed to be a secure delivery method. Telephone and email links use the applications or services configured on your device. Links to courts, tribunals, the Law Society, and other external websites are provided for convenience; those organizations control their own content and privacy practices.
